Perhaps you could argue MS has a responsibility to block iTunes' malicious behavior, but Apple has a responsibility to not engage in malicious behavior in the first place. The MS moderators are, rightly, pointing out the problem is with iTunes, not OneDrive. The OneDrive forum has hundreds of complaints about the same thing. I should add that I'm not the only person who's experienced this problem. And if I remove the copies from my hard drive, the next time I launch iTunes the problem reoccurs (i.e. The downloads continue despite my having canceled them. When Windows warns me that these downloads are occurring it gives me the option to cancel them and block iTunes from accessing OneDrive.
